Sunday 20th May 2007 - Narrow Gauge Gala
All Steamed up, the locos are ready to go..
Well what a successful day..
We had 1 visiting Locomotive, owned by John Wickham (Who
also took a lot of these pictures) come down to visit.
Charles and The Rheidol mainly worked the
passenger trains, with The Rheidol
running around the lake and Charles running a shuttle service to and from
Bolebroke Castle via Perryhill.

Coming off shed: the locos emerge ready to be cleaned and steamed
Last minute checks made to the Rheidol before
entering passenger service for the first time in 3 years

On 3rd June 2007,
Charles visited Hollycombe Steam Collection for their Railway Weekend.
Charles performed admirably at Hollycombe, hauling two fully laden carriages
around
Hollycombe's Miniature Railway track. Also running that day was Bob a
0-4-2
tinkerbell locomotive and Jennifer a 0-4-0 Vertical boiler (Coffee Pot) loco.
A good day was had by all and i'm sure Charles will return to Hollycombe for
another event,
especially as the BC&LR staff had a footplate ride on Barbouilleur on the 2ft gauge line...
Many thanks to Colin & the Hollycombe staff for a very hospitable & enjoyable
day.
Saturday 16th June 2007 - Charles Visits Swanley &

With John's Loco Geraldine out of
action, we visited the SNBR with Charles.
We all had a very enjoyable day, with Charles hauling 5 coaches around the track
&
she steamed like a gem, performing as well as any of the other locomotives
there.
Also running at the SNBR on Saturday were Sir Goss, Tinkerbell (from Moors
Valley),
The Hymek, The Deltic: Tulyar and the Romulus: Pheonix all from the SNBR.
